A Camponesa, Embaré's dairy brand, brings great news to its traditional powdered milk line. Its whole and instant milks in the 800g version, have gained a special mix of nutrients to meet the main nutritional needs of Brazilians. In addition to bringing all the benefits of pure milk from the field, the products are now a source of Vitamin A, C, D and E and enriched with calcium, iron and zinc.

Traditional in the sale of powdered milk, the Camponesa stands out on the national scene among the great players. According to Euromonitor, the Camponesa is the fifth largest brand of powdered milk in Brazil, with a 4% market share. Based on data released by the AC Nielsen Institute, the Camponesa, present today throughout the Northeast, has a significant market share in Pernambuco: 67,7%, it is among the top four best-selling powdered milk brands in the country and among the top 3 in the Northeast.
“We have done consistent work over the years, continually investing in innovation, research and development to improve our processes and ensure that the industry delivers the best product to our consumers. We were the pioneer industry in the manufacture of powdered milk in a bag in Brazil, helping to democratize the product. It is a source of great pride for us to see the recognition of the brand Camponesa in the market”, highlights André Antunes, Embaré's commercial director.
The company advances in the project to expand the participation in the domestic dairy market with the production of powdered milk. Last year, Embaré leased a factory in Patrocínio (MG) with a focus on expanding sales, allowing a 16% increase in its daily processing capacity, reaching 2,8 million liters of milk/day.
Also according to Euromonitor, for the period between 2021 and 2026, the institute projects an average growth of the segment of 1,7% in volume sold per year, and an increase of 3,8% in revenue – not including inflation.
“The scenario we are experiencing has been quite challenging, with rising inflation, high input prices and the economic recession caused by the pandemic. Despite all the adversities, we have carried out a very consistent work to remain competitive in the market and, therefore, we are confident that we will be able to achieve good results this year”, says André.
